I am a pollination ecologist interested in understanding how the interplay of animal mutualists and antagonists determines the individual fitness and population dynamics of plant species. My PhD research focuses on the pollination services provided by opportunistic nectar-feeding vertebrates in insular systems, in which we investigate the heterogeneous effectiveness among pollinator groups and the impact exerted by antagonistic counterparts on their beneficial outcomes.
